I bought my FitBit from Walmart in 2018. It has worked great! BUT NOW, it won't turn on, even after cleaning the charging port, and charging overnight, which helped so many others.
I believe the charging cord is working bc before I cleaned the ports, I had charged it. I got the smiley face but then FitBit wasn't responding to see the data (wouldn't work).... that's when I started researching and found that cleaning the charging ports with alcohol helped.
I wore the FitBit while I was gardening (with gloves) and thought that the cleaning would definitely be the answer but it is Not 😞
Any others thoughts on my issue? I even tried to hold the power button for several seconds, to no avail. It won't show me ANYTHING now - seems dead?!?!
Thank you!

To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if your Inspire vibrates when you connect it into the charging cable? Or is it completely unresponsive? I am having the same frustration. My Fitbit Inspire HR isn't turning on. It does not vibrate when I hold the button to try to restart.
I had a low battery warning and I have had it connected to charge...I have cleaned the connections. I tried changing the clock face but because it won't sync with phone (because the fitbit isn't on) that isn't working.
Looking for help...
Thanks

Hiya,
I've got the same problem. Had mine a few weeks. Has been working fine this morning then the screen just wont turn on. Have tried holding down the button in side but no luck.
Theres approx 50% charge in it and it vibrates when I put in on charge. Any ideas as to what could be wrong?

Hi,
They say to pull it up and hold the button while plugged up until the smiling face appears. I've been having the same problems since trying premium plan for free. Only worked for me for one day, now my Inspire is flashing and sometimes won't turn on as well. I hope this works for you.

This doesn't work. What is the problem with Fitbit doing this all of a sudden? Should I send it in?

I contacted Fitbit by phone this morning (1-877-623-4997) and because my Inspire HR is over a year old (bought March 2019) I am out of warranty...... I was given a link to purchase a new product at 25% discount, offer good for 30 days.
I find it interesting that so many people with Inspires are having the same issue....
I did not try the Premium FYI.
Mine did turn on June 17 and I did get it up to 100% charge and then in minutes it was off again. It came on again this morning for a few minutes as well.
Good luck.

I'm almost OVER IT! How much of MY TIME are they hoping to waste??? I control how much time I'm going to waste with Fitbit and I'm done! If they would reply more consistently, I might be more calm about it. UGH!
This is my 2nd Fitbit. My first lasted several years!! THAT model did NOT require charging. I wore it consistently for those Years and even showered with it on. Plus, it had a super long lifespan on the battery. It was simple. It only gave step info and time/clock.
I don't need to track other things that a lot folks like to do, recently. Alas, I was not going to get another but it was given to me as a gift. So, I am happily accepted my 2nd Fitbit last spring (2019). I've gotten used to charging it when it got low or had no charge left. I did/so shower with my Fitbit Inspire, besides bee-keep and garden, with it on.
It is SUPER FRUSTRATING that so many others seem to have similar issues! I am still eagerly anticipating a response from Fitbit 😇

It's a problem with the Fitbit. This is not working for a lot of people. My inspire started acting up as soon as I tried the free Premium like a few others, and Fitbit needs to start there because restarting on the chargng is making it even worst (I now have a blank screen) .Please get your Coders in there to fix this or should be all just return our Fitsbits?

Thanks for the info of you not trying the Premium service. So this would mean that it's a coding problem if it's effecting everyone out if the blue. My last good day was around that time too, but has been dead since Saturday.
Maybe I'm under warranty. Thanks again the the info.
