After the recent update with "bug fixes" I keep having to restart my phone, unpair and then pair my fitbit, or Uninstall and reinstall the fitbit app to continue having notifications for more than half a day as I keep getting the message "a phone restart is required for notefication blablabla.." which is quite annoying, what can I do besides that annoying ordeal?

Hi @RebekkaFluf What phone are you using? Is it on the Supported Devices List?

Huawei mate 20 lite, it's not on the "not supported" list, I can receive notifications after Uninstalling and then reinstall the app, for a few hours at most that is. Restarting my phone does no help anymore despite its what the app wants me to do. It worked fine before the "bug fix" update, but thank you, I hadn't seen that list 🙂

I just found the tab with compatible devices and my phone is not included, which seems very odd because before the update everything was working just fine 😞

Unfortunately when an unsupported phone stops connecting properly to the fitbit, no one is working towards getting the connection going properly again. It is usually an update to phone or tracker that causes it. The phones on the supported list are checked with the update to see they work OK and problems are fixed, but not if the phone isnt on the list. Sometimes they come good again with the next update, so dont give up hope. It is very annoying if you are affected though. Sorry Im not more help.

I have an Iphone 8 and have the most up to date operations system with IOS and my fitbit inspire will not show text notifications only. I get call notifications and calendar notifications as well as snapchat. I have followed every how to list and restarted and deleted the app and disconnected my fitbit several times to no avail. Please help!!!!

Yes I saw that. And followed all the recommendations and it’s still not working. I was hoping it would fix the issue. I guess not. I’m wondering when/if my Fitbit will work again?
