This morning my fitbit buzzed to tell me I had already successfully hit my target - trouble is, I know that I have barely done any yet steps today.

I looked at my dashboard, and apparently I had done 15403 steps between 9:15 and 9:30 this morning - when I know that I was sat at my desk in a meeting! Any suggestions?

@Maraieth It's great to have you here!

This is odd. Do you have any third party apps linked to your account or have you manually logged any activities? This could explain the sudden increase of steps on your account. If these aren't factors then please restart your tracker and manually log a Driving activity to negate steps.

Hope this helps.

Thank you - I've managed to remove the extra from your instructions, but can't see why they were added in the first place! I do have a third party app linked, but there is nothing logged on it recently, and I haven't logged anything manually.

Thanks for your help

@Maraieth thank you for the update. Happy to hear that the suggestions helped you. This is odd but hopefully it won't happen again.

Happy stepping and stay safe.
