Inspire's heart rate green light does not seem to be working

So I noticed about 24 hours ago my fitbit goes through periods were it does not record my heart rate. Especially if the heart rate is lower. So it has not recorded my sleep for the last two days. I turned heart rate on and off and on again and have rebooted the watch. I have repeated this twice. The little green light is no longer on but if it isn't on it should read my heart rate at all right. Any thoughts or is my fitbit broken?
