Inspire screen is black.

Thursday, my Fitbit Inspire's screen went all black, and there is a water mark in the screen. I have tried charging it, but nothing has helped. It has now, as of yesterday evening, stopped SYNCING. (tried turning on/off Bluetooth). If I hard press for 3 seconds, I can hear the vibrate, but that is about it.

Let me help you with your unresponsive Inspire and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Please start by restarting your device, after this change the clock face.

For the syncing issues you can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone. 
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
