Until recently, when my inspire HR froze up simply changing the clock screen unfroze the device. (I love the cat face, but it seems to be the one that freezes) you might try that. Now my app won't even let me change the clock face. Will try restarting the device.

hello! This is affecting my inspire as well. I have restarted it and I do get the smiley face, but it does not vibrate and remains frozen.

I tried this several times and like others have said it vibrates a little but never changes.. It won't scroll or show any other screen or switch to check the battery status. Disappointing as only have had it 5 months.

I restarted my Inspire HR and saw the smile three times No change to the display. It’s still stuck on the time. Help!

Hi all,
Had the same problem -and plugging in and powering down didn't work. What did work was changing the clock face. Go into your Fitbit app, select clock face designs, and choose another design. This prompted my Fitbit to respond. I then changed my clock face back to my preference. Works fine again. The freezing seems to happen after I charge my Fitbit. This is a glitch that needs to be addressed.

My inspire was stuck on one screen also! Why worked best to fix it was to:
1.go to the Fitbit app
2. Tap the top of your screen where it lists your device
3. Change the clock face
Once I changed my clock face to a random one and then changed it back to my original one it finally was unfrozen! Hope this helps because I was also unable to restart my inspire!

My inspire HR is frozen and won’t change screens, I’ve tried restarting several times and it is still frozen. What do I do now?

You might try going into your inspires settings and changing the clock face. If you are not having any internet problems this should correct the problem. However, this is not a permanent fix. I have had my inspire since December and my screen has frozen up about once every 6 weeks.

Thank you for your response. I have tried your suggestion and it is still frozen. I’m ready to go back to my Garmin tracker, I never had these issues. The only reason I bought the Fitbit instead of another Garmin device was the band style,

I'm having this issue to but it's been stuck on the active minutes screen instead (after resetting multiple times). I'm really not happy...I was having issues with sleep tracking and auto-tracking work outs, and when I reached out to fitbit in May they kept telling me to do the troubleshooting steps that I had already taken. Those issues were never resolved, and I just gave up because no one was offering any help besides telling me to do the things I started I had already done.
Edit: Just got an email from FitBit saying that my device is still under warranty and I can get a replacement. Highly recommend reaching out to the directly too for some extra help!

Thanks for your response. I will reach out to them as I have had my Fitbit since December 2019. I am concerned so many people are having this exact issue.
