Inspire stopped auto detecting exercise and sleep

I’ve had my inspire since March and one day it just stopped auto detecting sleep and exercise. I’ll do approximately 90 minutes a day if exercise and none of it counts towards my weekly exercise goal. My sleep hasn’t autodetected since exercise stopped logging either. I think I could enter it manually but don’t see the point.

Ive restarted the device and tried removing it from my phone and starting again but nothing is working. It’s now just a very pricey pedometer.

I have just done an update and am hoping this will resolve the issue, but
the sleep part seems to have disappeared on my fitbit but is still showing
on the app. I have yet to exercise since doing the update, will know in the
morning when I go for a run.

Mine doesn’t detect sleep at all it’s not on my Fitbit or the app. It recognises that I’ve done activity but doesn’t log it as exercise.

My fitbit is working fine now, autotracking both exercise and sleep. I went through the fitbit help last week with my issues and one of the things I was told was to make sure I had the lastest update and did through my app store, but that was not effective. On Monday when I had my Fitbit app open there was a message to update and it took 30 mins to install and update both the app and Fitbit at the same time. When I went to exercise the next day, it tracked it plus the sleep and since then everything has been fine. I think this is a separate update to the that of the app store. Maybe you need to speak to the help team to get it resolved?
