Device is tracking steps but not logging them as exercise. I have over 5 million steps which previously were auto detected as exercise, but today’s 9k steps didn’t registered. I did all the troubleshooting: restarted the device 6x, deleted and reinstall the App 3x, restarted my iphone 4x and resync everything, 9k steps still not considered as exercise.
Looking at the forums seems like this is an issue for as far back as 2017 and it persists. Why is this bug not fixed?
I spent an entire hour troubleshooting. Ready to throw this out and just get the new Apple Watch when it comes out. So frustrating.

I did contact and your colleague said I did everything I can but they are unable to advise how to get it to log my steps as exercise for yesterday. Said it should work for today. Hopefully that is true. I had a verse 5 for a year and it was not working properly so I threw it out and went back to my old Inspire.
why does the company not address bugs that go back to 2017 and continue to be a source of frustration for customers.
Google bought Fitbit just for the tech to develop the google watch. They dont care about fitbit which is what it feels like.

The Fitbit app discontinued Challenges & Adventures and support for Open Groups on March 27 as the integration with Google continues. Those “legacy” features are said to have limited use and no updates in quite some time.
