Inspire tracking but only 1/3 ends up on the dashboard

My Inspire is acting really odd. It says 15K steps on the device but 4K on my dashboard. The last few days it says 3 or 4K steps on the dashboard but it was actually 12K or so each day. I know it is not tracking steps because I was cleaning the house and it showed nothing on the dashboard for that time period. It is like most of the steps are not syncing but some are or it wouldn't say 4K steps, but I had 15K. Took a photo. What is going on?

Let me help you with your Inspire not showing all your steps. As you said this is odd. Do you have any third party app linked to your account? Have you manually logged any activities on your account? These scenarios will overwrite the data recorded by your tracker. Could you share a screenshot of what you are seeing on the Dashboard and on the activities area? Additionally I want to mention that your device will detect the movement on your arm and translate that movement into steps. There are situations in which your arm may be still but you could be moving or walking. This may happen when you are pushing a cart or holding bars while walking or using a treadmill. For added sensitivity you can try wearing your device on your dominant hand but select that hand as non dominant on the device’s settings to make it more sensitive to movement. Also make sure your hands are moving so the device can properly track your steps.
