Inspire won’t detect exercises & won’t let me start a work out to track

I just purchased my inspire, it is not detecting any workouts. I tried to follow steps online to fix the setting but it has not made a difference. 

 

I thought that maybe I could just ‘start’ a work out on my Fitbit app so that it would track it simultaneously but I am not able to start any workouts that are not “run, walk, hike” - is there anyway I can detect aerobics, elliptical or any other workouts?
