Inspire won't track my sleep or my exercise

The last 3 weeks my fit bit has not tracked my sleep or my exercise.  I have contacted costumer support and all I have gotten was they are aware of the problem and are working on it.  Is anyone else experiencing this issue?  I have restarted it, updated it when there were updates available and still nothing.  I am wondering if it is just my fitbit inspire or if everyone is having this issue?

@Kirisa A warm welcome to our Community!

Let me help you with your Inspire not recording your sleep or exercise. Your device will start recording sleep after it detects an hour of inactivity. If you have a light sleep or move too much then this may difficult your sleep detection. Additionally you can try wearing your device on your non dominant hand to decrease the amount of movement it is subjected to. Finally you can restart your device. You can also manually log your sleep time. You can read more about sleep detection here.

Regarding the exercises, what type of exercises are you doing and for how long? Your device detects activities based on the motion on your arm. The automatic detection is a feature called SmartTrack. For example when using the elliptical machine make sure you have the moving bars so your device detects the motion and record the activity itself, once an Elliptical activity is saved on your account it should show on the Recent Exercise area. If your heart rate is high but there isn't much motion (yoga, weight lifting, etc.) then these activities will be difficult to be detected by your device. Still you can manually log your activity so you have a record on your account or use the activity mode on the device itself.

Let me know how it goes.

I have done all those things several times, restarted.  changed the sensitivity for sleep.  Exercise wise-  It is set to recognize it after 10 min.  It will track the step but my icon of tracking how many days I exercise stays dark as well as the sleep icon.    I have contacted costumer support 3 times and  they have said that they are aware of the situation and are working on it.  Well It is getting a little frustrating.  I can manually track it but what was the point in having a device to track it if it won't.  I have had the device since sept.  and have never had a problem with either of these.  It has just been the last couple weeks.

@AlvaroFitbit   So do you have any other advice or help?  I am going on week 4 of this not working.  Is it the device?  The last thing I heard from customer service was they were aware of the problem and were working on it.  I saw there was a fitbit update on monday the 24th so I updated it and it still will not track sleep or exercise.
