Inspire wont turn off after checking time or swipe

This is my first fitbit.  I dont know what to do.  When I click the side to check the time and try to click it again to turn it back off it wont do anything.  Also it will not swipe.  Any help will be appreciated.  Thank you.  I have the inspire.  It was given as a gift recently.  I also use a Samsung phone it uses an android operating system.

You can try restarting/rebooting the unit. First put the Inspire on the charger and while on the charger press and hold the button until you see the smiley face. Hope this helps.
