InspireHR doesn't vibrate can't reset

Bought an InspireHR today and synced it to my Samsung S8. It has not vibrated at all despite receiving notifications from whatsapp and messages. Tried to reset by holding the button for 5 seconds but nothing happens, when I take my finger off it just goes back to the previous screen. All extremely frustrating for a brand new device and new to fitbit overall! In Australia.

Congratulations on your new Inspire HR! This is a great Fitbit device. Sorry to hear that you feel that way, but don't worry I'll give you a hand with this. You've done an excellent job troubleshooting your Fitbit.

Is your Fitbit Inspire not vibrating at all? Are alarms and reminders working?

I'd suggest to give it a try again and confirmed that you're following each one of the steps to perform the restart. Then followed these steps:

1. Disconnect ("unpair") your device in your mobile device's Bluetooth settings. The instructions differ by device, but in most cases: Tap Settings > Bluetooth and find your tracker in the list of paired devices.
2. Open the Fitbit app under Account (upper right corner), Tap Fitbit Inspire and then remove it
3. Reboot your mobile device.
4. In the Fitbit app under Account (upper right corner), tap Notifications > turn on the notifications you want to receive.

In case of having an Android phone, also check your phone Permissions and leave location on to keep syncing with your phone, for more info check those suggestions from @ErickFitbitSmiley Wink

I'll be waiting for your response.
