With each update my InspireHR has gotten worse. I have to strike hard 5, 6 times to get the time to display. Time will display once, then requires another 5-6 hard strikes to display the time again. No more information will display. Hard restart doesn’t help anymore. The only thing that works is notifications. It does sync with my iPhone, but the device itself is basically useless.
This is is my 3rd Fitbit and each one has gotten worse, especially after an “update”. I don’t know why I bother.

Hello @BlanellA, welcome to the Fitbit community! Yes, I definitely get where you're coming from! Fitbit claimed these inspire HR'S would be turned on by double tapping but that only works 1 time out of 100. What I eventually ended up doing is hard pressing the side button to display the quick settings menu and turned on screen wake, which you can just move your wrist towards you and it automatically turns the screen on. Hope this helps!

Thanks CourtneyS. I tried that. My screen is awake. When I rotate my wrist toward me I can see and scroll through the lengthy copyright information. If I press and hold the side button I have an option for Screen Wake and Notification. Double-tap from a blank screen takes me back to Screen Wake and Notification....over and over. I did a hard reboot with the thing attached to its recharger and that put me to the wrist-roll time display. This seems to be an improvement. I can’t help but think the next update will undo everything...again. But we’ll see.
I also think this is waaaaaayyyyyy too complicated.
But thank you. I seem to have made a little progress.
