Is it possible to only show active calories burned?

Hi guys!

I just got my first fitbit (inspire hr) today and had a questions regarding calories burned. I lift weights 4 to 5 times a week and cardio 2 to 3 times and I am only interested to see the calories I burn during these exercises.

I noticed the inspire hr however shows calories burned including your bmr which I ideally don't want. Is there a way of only showing me the calories burned during exercise? I. E the dashboard showing calories burned 400 rather than 2400?

Thanks in advance

Raman

It's not possible to show BMR calories separately or to exclude them at the moment. There is a feature suggestion to allow this and if you'd like to add your vote you can find it at:

The more votes it gets the more likely it is to influence the development teams.

Much appiciated.

When I log exercises however will it show me the calories burned separately during those sessions? I. E. Total burned 2400 (400 during weightlifting)?

I don't tend to use exercise tracking so I may be wrong here but my understanding is that an exercise summary will show the active calories plus the BMR calories just for the time period of the exercise

Honestly, this renders this fitness tracker useless to me. It’s absolutely ridiculous you cannot track your active calories only...

welp, back to Apple Watch....unbelievable
