Is there a way to add sleep hours into the app?

I mostly use my FB to track sleep.

I tend to sleep very lightly a lot, sometimes nap during the day.

When I go to the FBapp on my laptop and sync, the sleep logged is not what I did, usually some of the time I was at sleep is not there.

example, last night went to bed @ 8 & got up at 4.  I generally get up several times in early stages of sleep to go bathroom.  My FB has me sleeping from 11 to 4, so 5 hours sleep, when I actually had 8 hours-maybe 1 hour up/down/laying in bed.

Is there a way to add these hours into the app?

Is there a way to modify so that it includes time that is not listed in the app?

Hi @durielk welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for sharing all those details about your Fitbit sleep.

Fitbit devices automatically detect your sleep when you wear your device to bed and when your body is completely at rest and you haven’t moved for about an hour, your Fitbit device records that you’re asleep.  Every night when you wake up to go to the bathroom and go back to your bed, it takes a moment for you to fall sleep again.

In normal mode, when you make significant movements like rolling over, your device records time spent awake. This setting is appropriate for most users. In sensitive mode, your device records nearly all movements as time spent restless or awake. This setting may be helpful if you wake up feeling tired even though your sleep history shows sufficient rest. If you want to modify this you can go here.

To edit or delete sleep logs in the Fitbit app. For instructions, see How do I change my sleep history? Please note that if you do so, your sleep might loose the sleep stages details.

If you need more information about how Fitbit tracks your sleep you can check this help article: How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
