Is there an Inspire 2 on the way?

Hello 🙂

I had originally wanted to purchase the Inspire but after having heard multiple complaints (such as tiny screens, steps being messed up etc...) I decided to wait to buy it in hopes that a new one would come out this year like some models tend to do (such as the Charge 4 that was just released.

I do not want to nor do I like to wear something on my wrist.  I will not buy anything that is wrist-only.

I did find an alternative product (from another company) to purchase if Fitbit doesn't come out with something that will meet my (and many other people's) needs soon.  For now, I am still using my Zip, which I do like, but having misplaced or lost the batter door opened tool, it is getting harder to change my battery because the battery cover gets messed up...

Thank you for your inquiry. Currently this isn't available but you can share your idea in our Feature Suggestions board. Search for the idea first to see if one already exists so you can add your vote. The more votes an idea gets the more likely the developers will try to implement it.

I've always felt that my Alta HR was more accurate than my Inspire HR because I could see my steps constantly updating on my iPhone while I walk or run. I think the biggest issue I have with my Inspire HR is the battery life. I could coax 6 days usage out of it if I just did yoga, but now that I'm doing yoga and dance, it's down to 5. I think the next iteration of Inspire HR should have a larger capacity battery (at hopefully the same product size). That would make it more like the old Alta HR's battery life.

Thank you Yogaiki! 🙂  I wish the Inspire 2 would come out soon. I have my eye on another product, perfect in every way for me except no screen, which isn't a dealbreaker for me. Although I wish it did have some kind of a screen, but that's ok hehe.

Thank you AlvaroFitbit!  I will make my suggestion there if I do not see it already.

My Fitbit Zip is now not syncing every time to the app on my iPod Touch since updating the app last night (I knew that was a mistake) unless I turn the iPod off and then on again first, and then it will only sync sometimes. That is almost it for me with Fitbit, since there are no products that currently meet my needs (clip on and not buggy/too small of text on screen/etc). I do have another product in mind that is perfect in every way for me except there is no screen, but that is not a deal-breaker for me.

I do love Fitbit but it may be time for me to move on from it once my Zip won't sync anymore or once I can't get the cover off any more to replace the battery (misplaced the cover removal tool and the back cover is getting damaged from having to use a coin to take it off).  I hope it lasts a while longer because I do love it but I am thinking it probably will have to be replaced within this year.
