I really REALLY wanted to get into the fitbit community.
I ran out yesterday and bought a Fitbit Inspire HR. I returned it about 2 hours later.
It is not visible outdoors.
Let's let that sink in a bit, and let me say it again.....
It is not visible outdoors..... no arguments, no ifs, no ands, no buts....
So....before we 'conveniently' go on to discuss other issues, how did this product make it off the assembly line??? ....wow.... is this the fitbit quality control? very glad I returned it...
That being said - the notifications? ...... ok ... . on the THIRD ring of my phone, the fitbit picked it up.... my pebble picks it up instantly.
The vibration? Are you kidding me? This is BEYOND RIDICULOUS..... it is a fraction of a second light buzz - a guaranteed miss. When your phone is ringing - you get this fraction of a second light buzz ONE TIME FOR A VERY SHORT TIME - it is NOT CONTINUOUS....
....wow.....
I don't believe there is anything anyone in the fitbit community can say to address my points (and not divert from them). I would be very interested and open minded if you could concisely address the two issues:
- Inspire HR is NOT readable outdoors - the LED lights are not visible in sunlight unless you palm a tube around the fitbit with your hand
- Inspire HR vibration is totally unacceptable - Unless you are concentrating 100% on your wrist, you MAY feel it - or at least think you felt it and have to check your phone.
I will be checking out the Amazfit products - always on, readable in daylight.....

@SunsetRunnerWe in the Fitbit community are here to help each other, not to address your concerns, that's the job of people who work for Fitbit (some of whom are in the community as well).
If you had joined the community before you bought your Fitbit and done some research by reading the forums, you would have seen everything you mentioned in your post mentioned ad nauseum (and could have saved yourself a lot of trouble given that those are show stoppers for you).
Good luck with your Amazfit products!

if that is the best you could say about how stupid Inspire HR screen is invisible in daylight, bravo, very nice, very helpful.
I am probably very stupid not to have done what you said I should have like going on the site to look how stupid, badly design Inspire HR is.
Thank you for your superb positive help.
