Logged walk, but no map?

Hi all,

 

First time poster 🙌

 

I have put the walk function onto my exercise selection, but have noticed that when I set it via my tracker, the map.of my walk doesn't appear in my exercise log. But if I start it in the app, it does log the map below my walk. 

 

Am i doing something wrong, I r is this working correctly, and If I would like to see the routes I am walking to start the tracking on the app, rather than the tracker itself.

When you start from your tracker, do you still carry your phone with you, and have the tracker connected to phone's GPS?

Without GPS, it cannot get map.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Yes, as I also start my Huawei health tracker, so I know the GPS is working. Previously, I would manually start both, and both recorded. But since I put the walk. Function onto my Inspire HR the GPS functionality seems to have disappeared from my Fitbit!!

 

UPDATE may have found the issue in the advance settings, automatic location was turned off😔. Hopefully that will sort it next time!!
