This is the third Fitbit I’ve had. Old ones were Altas. The straps are horrible and each time I’ve lost them because they just fall off! I’ve been to ten different places today, carrying a baby around and have no idea at what point it fell off. What a terrible design, I’m heartbroken, it was helping me get back in shape but I can’t justify buying something that seems to be made to jump off your wrist and run away.

My Fitbit Inspire HR fell off yesterday while I was on vacation in a National Park. Didn’t notice until hours later and so there is no way to locate it, especially as it’s 8 hrs away. Called Fitbit and wasn't offered a replacement, coupon, percentage off a new one, nothing. It was a gift from my college-age children and I’ve only had it for 3 months. The band design is faulty. I don’t trust the company enough to buy a new one but I’m sure another will come along soon with a better product. Shame on you Fitbit!!

THIS! I've been a loyal customer since 2015. And am (well, was) on my third Fitbit device. I purchased the Inspire HR end of July -- so less than 2 months ago. Last week, during my evening commute, the Inspire slipped off my wrist and fell off. I didn't notice until I was home. I contacted Fitbit and they offered NOTHING. Not even a 5 or 10% discount for a replacement.
There are TONS of complaints online about the band design. I wish I'd known prior to throwing away $100 on this device.
Prior to it completely slipping off last week, I'd noticed a couple of instances where the band had become loose, but I didn't think it would completely fall off.
Super disappointed in the design, but even more so by the lack of customer service support. The only thing the agent assisting me could tell me was to buy another one and to come to this forum to complain -__-.
Tl;dr - Four years of brand loyalty to Fitbit, including owning 3 devices and purchasing 2 as gifts for family/friends AND recommended over a dozen folks purchase them. New Inspire HR fell off my wrist after less than 2 months of purchasing due to sh**ty deign. Fitbit offered NOTHING - no replacement, no discount - nothing.

I still miss my Inspire. I liked that it was lighter weight, responsive as far as screen wake and especially as it was a gift. I’m wondering now if it didn’t just detach from the band although the band design is poor too with no notches to hold the smaller band in place. Too much cost cutting on this one. I feel bad for my kids as they purchased it and it then had sentimental value for me too. And then the Customer Service on this whole incident was so poor and unresponsive. Really disappointing!
