This morning I walked 9000+ steps starting at 6:00am EST. At around 1:30pm EST I synced my iPhone Fitbit app and I saw that I had cracked 10,000 steps. At 1:40PM EST my app synced again and I noticed that my run activity yesterday am and my morning walk activity this morning (see above) were gone. I manually added the activities back in but then noticed that I was now at only 4300 steps for today. What happened to my 4500+ lost steps?

@GChiggins Welcome to the Community! Sorry for the delay in my response.
Let me help you with your missing steps and thank you for manually logging an activity. Not sure why this happened. Do you have any third party app linked to your account? If so then check that it hasn't logged any activity that may overwrite what your tracker detected. The same thing can be said of any incorrectly logged activities on your account. Also restart your tracker and see how it behaves on the following days.
Let me know how it goes.

Tried all of your suggestions. These were not manually logged steps. Lost steps are gone.
