Lost all data after moving my inspire 2 to my google account as instructed

So I had an email the other day asking me to move my Inspire 2 to my gmail and google account.

I already had a gmail account set up with an old fitbit but was using a hotmail for my current inspire 2. I have just changed it to be logged in on the gmail account and despite syncing with my inspire 2, I have lost all previous data - sleep, exercise, everything! The exercise is particularly important as my health fund pays me money for completing 5 days of exercise!

What can I do?

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience about the Inspire 2. 

The Gmail account you already have does not contain your data. You must migrate your Hotmail account to a Google account, as this is the account that has all your data with Inspire 2. For this process, you need to follow the steps listed in this help article and create a new Google account.
