Why do I keep getting a low battery message when my battery is not low?  It was at 65% the first time and now  at 48%.

Mine is doing the same.  This and the ridiculous over counting steps issue is making me think this has been an expensive mistake .  At the moment it seems to be a piece of junk.  FITBIT how about fixing these problems.

I have the exact same problem. Two messages this week but my battery is at 50%

I'm getting the same e-mail message for several days now and my battery is not low.

Add me to this problem.

Same issue here for the past week or so. Quick question, is anyone else using an aftermarket band? I switched to a "magnetic mesh" band about 2 weeks ago, didn't know if maybe it could be the culprit (even though the magnet is on the inside of my wrist)

Using band that came with the fitbit

@Mesonoxian47 My wife has a band like that, but she was wearing the Fitbit with that band and without the messages until a couple weeks ago, so I don't think it's the band.

Doesn't have to do with the bands this all started with the last update.   Having some other issues as well.  Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

Same for me but only started this week.  Both times my battery was at 54%

I was chatting with them online today about this and the tech made it seem like it was something with just my unit.  I said well I would just take it back and they seems to agree.  I wish I would have checked here first and I would have just gotten my money back period.

I got my Inspire HR on May 26 and it was appropriately telling me low battery alerts until this week (June 12 and June 14), so I do feel the update that came out on June 12 caused the issue - and I have hopes they will fix it!

Wish I could take mine back.  I have had mine since Jan and Best Buy no longer let's you buy warranties where you can take them back.  Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

Same thing happening to me!  Obviously there is a glitch in the software somewhere.  Its driving me crazy!  Is there a way to check your battery level directly from the watch.  I know I used to be able to do that with the Charge device.

Best Answer

Yes, to check the battery hold in the button in  and the unit  will buzz and then you will see the battery level.  I discovered it by accident this evening.

Hope that helps.
