This is frustrating. I could do this on my base model Fitbit 5 years ago

I had that problem also.  Tried everything.  What worked was connecting the FitBit charger to the FitBit then touched the button or bar on the FitBit app where it says "start now"  Or something like that. It's been a little bit since I did it, but it's the big red bar across the bottom of the app. Apparently, having the charger attached to the unit makes a difference. At least, it did for me.

Afternoon could you tell me how you set us your swimming log I have activated it to be on but it hasent registered calories I have burnt has on my phone but not on the app. Thanking you in advance.

Automatic sleep tracker still not working. I believe it has been 5 month's
time since it worked. I put my sleep time in everyday. Extremely frustrated
that you have allowed this to happen. No resolution and complete run around
from support. My inspire should have been replaced month's ago . There are
an abundance of complaints about this issue.

Can you help troubleshoot/fix my Inspire HR?    I posted a plea for help yesterday and someone said they had the same problem. Now my post is marked as having been answered.... which it wasn't!

 

The screen is unresponsive -- it's stuck on time and steps.   Will not change no matter what I do.  It won't restart.   I can't get the light bulb to change either so all night long, every time I move it lights up the bedroom.  I guess I could just take it off since it isn't recording my sleep data anyway!  I know, my frustration is showing.

 

Don't know if it matters, but I do everything with the fitbit on my computer, not on a phone.   I'd remove it and reload it but I'm afraid it wouldn't reload.   Please help.
