Mapping route. Versa lite or inspire hr

Does the versa Lite and the inspire he do mapping when they track hikes or rides?  What does the outcome look like?   Does it show rural trails or just roads?

Hello @K4902 and a warm welcome.  Both the Versa Lite and Inspire HR have connected GPS, so they use the GPS sensors in your phone.  It doesn't matter which tracker you use.  You get a GPS map like every other GPS map you pull up on your phone, with your route a red line.  Most of my walks are off road as there is an extensive trail system where I live.  If you are in the middle of a field, your map will show you that you are in the middle of a field.

I'm sorry that I don't have a recent screenshot to post.  I don't map my familiar trails any more.
