I wear my Fitbit on my dominant wrist which is also the one I hold a walking stick with if I need it. It syncs with my Sony Xperia 5. I have found that, when I use my stick for walking, it only measures every other step thus under-recording my overall number of steps and distance. Is there a way around this?

Thanks for getting back to us @henaddict.
Do you walk slower when you use the walking stick? I use a walking stick and records my steps okay. Do you use the stick with your dominant or non dominant hand?
I´ll be waiting for your response.

Thanks for getting back to us and for the clarification @henaddict. I remember that when I started wearing the Charge, it didn't record my floors. It was the way I was wearing it.
Try wearing it as recommended. Do you get accurate step count when you walk without the walking stick? Do you use it all the time (the walking stick)? Sometimes I don't use it and it really doesn't change the records.
Please give me more information about how you wear your device and I'll to continue helping you.
