I've recently bought a bike to vary my fitness activities.
Yesterday, I set my fitbit to bike for exercise. I did 10 miles on the bike however all my fitbit did was track the duration of the activity, not mph, HR or most annoyingly.... Mileage!
I've tried looking on the app and fitbit itself but can't see where I'm going wrong. Thank god strava tracks mileage!
Any ideas where I'm going wrong?

Hi, @Cherryb88 can you confirm that opened the exercise app on your Inspire 2 and started a biking activity, and then when you were done set it to finish? If you relied on auto detecting of your ride (“smart track”) the Fitbit is set to ignore distance.
For most accurate results it is best to have your phone with you (I assume you did because you also had Strava) and make sure that your Fitbit is using “connected GPS”. With connected GPS your Fitbit counts time, HR and steps (the last not relevant for biking, of course) and your phone calculates GPS.
For more information on how to do this, please see this help article .
I hope this helps. Welcome to the forums!

Hi, that's for messaging. Yes, I set to 'bike' in the exercise setting from my fitbit and hit 'finished' once completed. It just doesn't seem to register, I've Checked app settings and it's down as all the time for location tracking.
