Missing steps after syncing the Alta HR & Inspire

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hello! Since now multiple years I have an alta hr wristband, I wear it for an everyday usage. I also HAD a fitbit one (used to have one because I lost it a few months ago) and I was wearing it with the clip accessory for my basketball practices and games. The app worked very fine and all my steps were perfectly counted.

My problem is, since I have lost my fitbit one, i have decided to replace it with an inspire with a clip too when I play basketball, but with the app synchronization, I have noticed big data loss (steps). For exemple, if I have made 8k steps with my alta hr and then make 8k other steps with my inspire, when I synch with the app the total steps should be 16k steps but it is 8k and 500 steps something alike...

So is there a device incompatibility between those or something wrong with my app / account please help me understand 😞  thank you.

@Supa971 A warm welcome to our Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your missing steps when syncing your trackers. This may happen when a tracker's information overlaps the other one instead of merging. It is suggested that you sync both trackers at the time of switching them. Still you can manually log a walking activity to have a record on your account.

Let me know how it goes.
