Started to swim today using my new inspire, however it only logged 18 out of my 40 lengths of the pool. I swam constantly for 30 minutes mixing breaststroke with crawl.
Ive read i can add a swimming app within the Fitbit app but when i go to ‘all apps’ within the Fitbit app , i can only see clock faces, alarms and settings , no install!
Please can anyone offer me advice ? I was really hoping to use this watch to record my swimming along with the gym.
Many thanks

Hi @Fluxyxxxx nice to see you around. Welcome to the Community Forums!
I'll be glad to give you a hand with the information that you need about using your Fitbit to swimming activities. Thank you for all the details on your post. It's best if you swim using any of these 4 most common strokes: freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. For best results, I recommend swimming freestyle.
It's great to know that you swam constantly for 30 minutes mixing breaststroke with crawl. Your Fitbit Inspire can record your swims even if you were a novice swimmer, meaning you can swim about 6 to 12 lengths of the pool without stopping to rest. As your swimming ability improves, you’ll likely notice fewer inconsistencies in your data.
Please note that inconsistencies in your swim data may be caused by any of the following:
If you want to record an activity that isn't detected automatically, manually log the exercise in the Fitbit app: How do I manually log exercises in the Fitbit app?

Thankyou for your detailed response. I went back and checked my Fitbit and it had recorded 43 lengths in the end. Which is better.
However, I've upgraded to the Fitbit hr which is arriving tomorrow as i'd like more detailed information. I'm looking forward to trying it out this week in the pool!
