Moto g7 and Inspire HR no longer syncing

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My moto g7 and my Inspire HR will no longer sync up. I cannot get any of my data from my watch. I have tried everything, updated, restarted, deleted app and reinstalled. The Inspire shows up on my bluetooth on my phone but will not connect with it. This just became an issue in the past month or so. It's worked with my phone without any problems since I got the phone.

Any suggestions?

Was there an update that has now caused this problem?

@Littledebbie606 It's great to see you in the Community!

Sorry to hear about this and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Try refreshing the link between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Hope this helps.

I have the same issue with my inspire HR and moto g5. I have rebooted the phone and Fitbit, uninstalled and reinstalled the app but they won't sync. I get as far as putting the 4 digit code on the Fitbit into the phone then it just says connecting and it's taking longer than usual before it goes to a cross and nothing happens. The phone and Fitbit must be connecting somehow as it is generating the code.

How do I resolve this? I'm currently stuck with a useless Fitbit as the time is wrong on it.

If you get any help or figure this out please let me know. I’ve done everything they said to do and the Bluetooth will not even pick up my fitbit to enter a code.

Me too, same problem but with Apple. I do everything suggested and it’s the same problem. Sometimes it works but most of the time it doesn’t.
