My FitBit Inspire counts steps on the simplest of movements & doesn’t measure my sleep accurately.

Is there a sensitivity feature that I am missing out?

My Fitbit Inspire counts steps when my arms move in the car or in any other activities. Several hundreds a day at least.

Also, I slept well after 5am last night cause I was unwell - however, Fitbit shows bed time as 3.30am. Sleep measurements is quite inaccurate.

Please help.

You are not missing anything besides the longer post with many people with the same issue.  I have chatted online with customer service and sent emails but yeah, today I woke up and had 206 steps before getting out of bed.

I find my fitbit counts steps accurately... but also many other activities as 'steps'. For example I stand in front of mirror, have a shave, shower, dry off and check fitbit - and it has counted 300 more 'steps'. If only exercise really was that easy...

I also find the the INSPIRE is incredibly INACCURATE. It counts steps (LOT OF THEM) while I am driving -- and since I drive professionally as a jeep tour driver, this renders the Inspire pretty worthless. My ONE (no longer available) was more accurate, and did not record steps for simple, random movements of my arm.
