Ever since I bought my fibit around November 2019, it will start vibrating at 4am on random days. It stops if I press the button, but it's still waking me up each time! Ironically, I bought it to track my sleep too. On the few times I've actually looked at the screen whilst it's vibrating, it's done one of two things. To begin with, it was displaying fireworks as if I met my step goal. More recently, it displays random Japanese/Mandarin and I have no idea why. I don't have it on auto-sync with my phone, so it can't be any notifications coming from there. I also turned off reminders to move but that's not changed anything.
I've tried connecting my fitbit to my laptop and holding the button down to reset it, but no smiley face shows up on the screen. It's definitely connected as it's charging. It vibrates as soon as I press and hold the button, but after holding it for 5 seconds, or even more, nothing happens at all.
I'm at a loss of what to do! I can't stop wearing my fibit on a night, and sleep tracking was the main reason I bought it.

@ebonyleigh97 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Sorry for the delay in my reply.
Let me help you with your Inspire HR waking you up at 4 am and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. It is odd that you can't actually restart your tracker. Try cleaning the contacts using cotton swab with rubbing alcohol, then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's USB port (try different ports) or use an UL-certified USB adapter. After this, retry restarting your device and see how it behaves. Also make sure the alarms are turned off.
Let me know how it goes.

Thanks. I tried cleaning it and it seems to be able to restart now. I restart the same day you replied, and the following morning my fitbit started vibrating at 4am again. I restarted the day after a couple of times, and this morning my fitbit vibrated at 4am again. I managed to look at the screen and it was displaying fireworks followed by the number 200. I'm not sure why, and there are no alarms set - I've never used the alarm function.

Did you ever figure this out? This is happening to me. It's driving me absolutely crazy. I also wear the fitbit to track sleep because I am an insomniac. Is there any way to turn off the fireworks while sleeping?

I did manage to figure it out in the end! My "main goal" was set to calories burned, but as I don't want to lose weight I had the number set really low. When I met the goal, it would notify me on the watch, which always happened to be around 4am.
I'd have a look at what your "main goal" is set as - on the app click the little person in the top left, click Inspire HR then scroll to "main goal" and you can change it, then make sure your goal is set to something which you either won't achieve (I put in I want to burn 5000 calories a day) or something you'll achieve during the day time. I've had no problems since!

That is probably it!!! I have/had mine set at 200 because that's my goal for my mini-workout. I will change that. Thanks a million!
