I have been wearing my Fitbit since October 2020, and my daily steps are ridiculously inaccurate. As a therapist, my working days are spent sitting in a chair. I move from my workroom to the kitchen, bathroom etc during the day, but often at the end of the day my steps are recorded in the thousands and when I do go out and walk some distances, my steps are not much greater than when I barely move. How can I correct this?

When you wash your face brush your hair or teeth any movement of your arm adds steps, that's the only bad thing about the HR I know about. During those activates you might want to remove it.

My Fitbit recorded over 21000 steps in 15 minutes tonight.
