My Fitbit Inspire steps don’t show up in my exercise tally

Episodically, a day of steps won’t show up in my weekly exercise tally. Everything is recorded for a Tuesday (steps, miles, minutes) but it won’t show up towards my days of exercise goal. Twice this has happened when I’ve been well over my target steps. I’ve synced and resynced; bluetooth is working. I’m at a loss.

@LuckyRoja Thanks for stopping by!

Let me help you with your steps not showing on your daily exercise tile. The recent exercise area shows the activities detected or logged on your account (run, bike, elliptical, etc.). If your device detected your steps but not the activity itself then the steps, heart rate and other data will show on your account but nothing will show in recent exercise. For example when using the elliptical machine make sure you have the moving bars so your device detects the motion and records the activity itself, once an Elliptical activity is saved on your account it should show on the Recent Exercise area. Still you can manually log your activity so you have a record on your account.

Let me know how it goes.
