Bought my Fitbit Inspire 2 last week and it was logging my activity until yesterday. All auto recognize buttons are on. I've tried restarting it multiple times. It shows how many steps I've walked on the main screen but does not log the time as a walk even though it also shows zone minutes on main screen of my phone. Please help! I need to know how long I've exercised for as well as how far I've gone.

I realise I only have the Inspire which you do not produce anymore though I only bought it a year ago so does this make a difference? I do not wear it on my wrist or have I ever (I have been using Fitbit since 2013) and the issue is random so 99.9% of the time it tracks my walking and only occasionally it does not. The app does not ask if you use a clip for your Inspire - all help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thank you for visiting the Fitbit Community, @DawnD60.
You should be able to set your Fitbit Inspire to On Clip from the Tracker itself. You can find detailed instructions in the User Manual page 18.
In addition, you can restart your Inspire by following these steps.
Have a nice day.
