My Inspire HR battery draining quickly/not working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi

My fitbit that I brought Feb 2020 is not working properly. The battery drains within minutes and when you try to light up the watch it will only show the time for a split second when holding the button on the side. It will not let me look at anything else on the watch.

I have tried resetting it, charging it in numerous ports, but nothing.

Please help.

Many thanks.

For me this issue began suddenly. It was fine for my hike earlier in the week, yesterday I noticed it was low, even though I had recently charged it. I charged it again yesterday evening until 100%, I put it on before bed. It was 58% when I woke up. I removed it to shower this morning, and when I put it back on it was at 5%. I've cleaned the contacts, rebooted it, and plugged it in to the computer to charge, and after less than 10 minutes of charging it's up to 60% already.

Update: After charging it to 100%, I was able to wear it from about noon, all night, and most of today until 8pm where it turned off as it was at 5% already (it wasn't syncing with other devices, nor was it tracking exercise today). I'm not sure if there was a recent update that could be the issue, but this is very sudden to only get less than 2 days out of a full charge. Fitbit, I'm open to suggestions on how to fix this issue.

Hi

After several days of no battery I ended up phone fitbit. They were very helpful. I tried everything they asked, but still no joy, so I sent them my fitbit back, which they paid postage for and now I am waiting on a new one.

This is happening to me, also!  I’ve read other posts over the past few days and the only “resolution” that I have seen is people sending their Fitbit back or being offered a discount on a new device.

Come on, Fitbit, obviously there is a problem with your software/update version.  Please Fix it!!
