I have tried everything listed in the Help page regarding the notification feature: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1610
All notifications inside the Fitbit app, in iOS and on my Inspire HR are turned on. All-Day Sync is on. Bluetooth is on. I've tried turned them off and on a few times. Not working.
Also tried a few other tips in the forum: disconnect, re-connect the device from the app, uninstall FitBit app and re-install, restarted Inspire HR, forgot the device from my iphone and repaired, even restarted my iphone.
During the whole process, my Inspire HR is 5 inches away from my phone. It just never got any notifications (tried call and text messages) from my phone.
What are the other things I can try? Please help! This is frustrating.

Hi @jedi_ninja welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks a million for sharing the details of the steps that you've tried until now.
You've done an excellent job by checking the help articles and other information. Sorry to hear that you're still not getting notifications on your Fitbit Inspire. Would you mind checking the permissions allowed on your iPhone 8? On your iPhone > Settings > Apps or Application Manager > Tap Permissions > Allow permissions to Fitbit (depending on your device, this may look different.)
Otherwise, we might have to get in touch with our support team. Please keep me posted.
I'll be around.

hi, I also have questions regarding the notifications in the inspire hr. where can I re-access them on the watch? the text comes so quickly and doesn't stay, so how can I re -read it. Also, how do I access the notifications on the watch? When I scroll I don't see them. Thanks

Are you sure there is an “application manager” on iOS devices? I couldn’t find one under Settings.

the same thing happened to me i have a iphone 7 but today i just realized that you have to go to bluetooth and click on your device and “forget device” then go into the fitbit app and click on “notifications” then it’ll ask you to pair the devices and you can choose what notifications you want. hope this helps!

ashleylam58 YES! I actually figured it out the same way-- I should have posted-- but I still think it's sporadic-- I don't get all my texts and haven't seen any emails on the fitbit. Also, they disappear so fast that I can't get there fast enough to read them. Any more tips?

Hi, I also have the same problem, I have checked my Permissions on my Redmi 4x. And they seem ok. I can get the test phone call.

If I recall correctly, this is what worked for me:
In settings on your phone go to bluetooth and click on your device and “forget device” then go into the fitbit app and click on “notifications” then it’ll ask you to pair the devices and you can choose what notifications you want. hope this helps!

Thank you! This has been driving me crazy for the past few days. I’ve restarted my iPhone, deleted/reinstalled the app, cleared the Inspire. Fitbit’s cryptic explanation of the problem was no help. Your simple solution has made my day.
