My Inspire HR won't sync to my phone anymore

My fitbit stopped syncing so I searched online for tips to fix it. I finally just deleted the app and was going to add it back. When I went to add it, there was no fitbit app in the Play store. After some searching, I discovered that the fitbit app won't play well w/ a samsung 6 with the OS that mine has. I'm not going to buy a new phone so I can get the fitbit app!  When I login on line, my profile continues to tell me that I haven't synced since Oct 17th. arrggghhh Help?

Hi @funnygirl70  wish you'd come here first and posted. Once you removed the app, you got stuck. If you don't have Android 8 or higher, there is no app available for you and you need the app to sync.  Sorry, but there is no workaround for having removed the app.

I searched around online and did the other things that were recommended re: the sync problem. The final step seemed to be to remove the app and add it back. I'm not at all happy with this but instead of buying a new phone I'll guess that I'll get a new tracking device that isn't a Fitbit. 🙁 boooo hisssss

Sorry @funnygirl70  but whatever product you get, if you have a question, go to their page first. Often the suggestions found online can be misleading. We've been trying to tell people not to remove the app since this was happening to others.
