My inspire hr is not accurately recording my steps

Hi. I have been using my charge hr for 3 years already and I recently upgraded to the inspire hr. I would make more than 10k steps a day. With no change in my activity, I noticed that I don't get to reach 10k steps with the inspire hr compared to when I was wearing the charge hr. So I checked how it works. While walking, I look at my watch to see if it's recording. The steps are not being recorded. What should I do?

Hi @CindyMara70  Do a step test on both your trackers. Walk 100 paces (count them) in a normal walking manner, swinging your arms normally, preferably putside where you have plenty of room. Check your trackers before and after the 100 paces and work out how many they say you have done. That will tell you how accurate both trackers are. They shoukd be within + or - 5 paces of the 100. Come back and let me know how you go.
