My walk is being recorded as swimming?

I have been walking briskly for 30 minutes several times a week. Today it recorded me as swimming - an activity I do not do. Why? In the overall dashboard it recorded xteps.

If you don't manually start tracking a specific exercise from the Inspire 2 Exercise menu, it will try to guess what activity you're doing by your movement patterns. It is usually good about walking in my experience but it's certainly not perfect. Consider manually tracking by starting a walk exercise from your Inspire 2. If you can't find walk in the exercise menu, you may need to modify what is available by opening up the Fitbit app, tapping your avatar in the upper left to get to Account settings, then tap Inspire 2 and scroll down to Exercise Shortcuts. Here you can swipe left on an exercise to remove it from your watch, add new ones with the blue + at the bottom of the list, and edit the options (if applicable) for each exercise type.
