New Inspire HR not tracking sleep and sleep icon grey

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I’ve had my inspire HR for two whole days and it has already stopped recording my sleep and the sleep icon is gray on my Fitbit. I’ve read through numerous threads in the community and see this has been an ongoing issue for years with Fitbit. I’m guessing at this point Fitbit hasn’t come up with a solution that actually works?

I’m using an iPhone 11.  I’ve restarted the Fitbit numerous times, deleted it from the app and added it back on, removed it from Bluetooth and added it back in, turn your notifications off and on....and nothing.  Anyone found a solution?

@MarinasMom Thanks for stopping by!

Let me help you with your Inspire HR not recording your sleep and it not showing on the tracker and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. I would like to know if the sleep is showing on your account? Or is the tracker not recording any sleep at all? If the sleep isn't being recorded then I would like to explain that your device will start recording sleep after it detects an hour of inactivity. If you have a light sleep or move too much then this may difficult your sleep detection. Additionally you can try wearing your device on your non dominant hand to decrease the amount of movement it is subjected to. Finally you can restart your device. You can also manually log your sleep time. You can read more about sleep detection here

If sleep is showing on your account but not on your tracker then try manually logging a sleep period, save and sync your tracker and see if it shows there.

Let me know how it goes.
