New Inspire HR will no longer sync

Got this device yesterday. All was working fine but now it will not sync with my phone. Have tried resetting device and turning Bluetooth off and on also turned phone off and on. Never had this issue with my Flex device and don't know how to fix. Please help.

Let me help you with your Inspire HR not syncing with your phone and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Which phone are you using? Is it compatibleYou can try the following:

 

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.

Thank you for your quick response. I had already tried all your suggestions as the device worked fine originally, it was only after a day's use that it stopped syncing. By some strange chance, it started working ok earlier today and has been fine ever since. Will keep my fingers crossed that this happy situation continues.
