I ordered my device last week, just came in today (08/30) and it won't turn on. I am charging it, I held down the button for 5 seconds, nothing. I pressed the button 3 times within 8 seconds, nothing. I don't see a smiley face or the fitbit logo. The screen is completely black. Help please!

What type USB port is it plugged in to? If it's a lower power one it may not be working / charging?

I used the one that came with my phone and then I tried using my laptop.
