I just got an old inspire 1 from a friend. I've been tracking for a week and on average I make about 5000 steps a day so far. I've used 3 different fitness tracker apps that sync with it and each are telling me that for 5000 steps I'm burning almost 800 calories, which can't be correct, right?

Hi @gathapa2 ! Warm welcome to the Community !
I appreciate your message concerning the calories burned calculation.
It depends on the physical data you entered in to your Fitbit account (height, weight, sex, and age) and your activity data.
In order to know how does your Inspire calculate calories burned, I suggest you to read the following help article : How does my Fitbit device calculate calories burned?

Hi @gathapa2 you need to give it a bit more time. One week isn't long enough for your Fitbit to learn your activity level. Don't forget, burned calories happen beginning at midnight (the time every Fitbit starts the day)
@MarioSFitbitgave you the right answer. Hope it works out for you and that you're able to enjoy the journey.
