Purchased a new Inspire today. Charged up and (after a couple of resets) convinced it to start counting steps.
Synced with my android fitbit app.
Inspire then displayed 12538 steps posted earlier in the day from Zip tracker.
Great. Removed the Zip from my available Fitbit devices...ready for my new Inspire life.
Additional walking got my Inspire tracker up above 15000 steps.
When I launched Fitbit app on my phone, miles/calories/minutes updated in the app but not the steps.
Meanwhile Inspire now displaying only 12538 steps again.
Restarted phone. Restarted app.
Reading 12538 steps, 2.75 miles, 1586 calories.
Closed app.
Walked additional steps. Inspire now reading 12820 steps.
Launched Fitbit app and autosync occurred.
App reading 12538 steps, 2.86 miles, 1606 calories.
Inspire is again back to 12538 steps.
Very unhappy and hoping for solution. Otherwise Inspire device is being returned.

@Cbtrack, welcome! Thanks for being part of our Community!
Let me help you with your Inspire losing steps. Do you have any third party apps linked to your account? Have you manually logged any activities? Both instances may overwrite the data recorded by your device. Still I suggest you clear your data (factory reset) and set it up again on your account.
Let me know how it goes.

Me too. My inspire had been working well until yesterday. Then about halfway thru the day, all my steps were lost and the counter went back to zero. Today, same thing. I know it was counting earlier because I felt it buzz in on the hourly goals. Now my counter shows zero steps and won't count any more.
