New Inspire not syncing with phone

My inspire is brand new.  It is completly charged.   Trying to sync it to my phone via the app and it keeps telling me it cant find it. I've already 

 

Restarted my phone

Turned bluetooth on and off

Nothing else is near it

 

What am I doing wrong?

 

When I go into my phones bluetooth settings it shows the inspire as am available device?

Let me help you with your Inspire not syncing with your phone and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Which phone are you using? Is it compatibleYou can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
