New Inspire not tracking sleep

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi, I'm new here on this Forum. I had a Fitbit ( Charge) before and have the Inspire now.

I'm using the app from before but its now updated and the new Fitbit tracker is added.

The first night I was using my Fitbit it was tracking my sleep, but that stopped working the very next day. There is no data on the app / dashboard of my sleep

and the icon on the device is is grey.

Does somebody know what the problem is?

@mactube Welcome to the Community. Thanks for letting me know that you had a Charge and now you upgrade to Inspire.

I would like you to change your tracker's settings to sensitive, please check the instructions in this article: How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device? Since you mentioned the sleep icon on your tracker is grey, please restart it

Also, please confirm if you have an Inspire or Inspire HR the difference is the heart rate data.

Keep me posted. I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

I

- changed the settings to sensitive

- restarted the device

- deleted the Fitbit app off my iPhone and reinstalled it

My Inspire HR is still not racking any sleep !

I've  had this problem for ages (fitbit HR doesn't track my sleep) and have looked on the user forums for solutions, but none worked.  I found the solution to my problem on Reddit of all places, and it works for me:   Turn your fitbit around on your wrist so that it's facing the inside.

Hope this works for everyone else as well!

@Flarb Welcome to the Community. Thanks for your input, I'm glad to hear that when you turned your Fitbit around on your wrist and it faced the inside, it's started tracking your sleep.

My  Tracker magically started working for a day but I will honestly not put up with the device working intermittently and I don't want to remember turning it around before I got to sleep ( which didn't work in my case anyway)  I will just have to downgrade again to the older hr model which worked fine.
