New Inspire now repels charger

I bought mum a new Inspire for Christmas 24. Charged ok first time but now won't charge and repels chargers. Tried 5 new chargers and repels all of them. Support Centre useless and told me the fitbit was first used in 2020 when it was bought new in box from uk store in Dec 24. Its now useless and an expensive non-functioning bracelet. So much for being  Fitbit customer for 8 years 😞 any help much appreciated

@nataliem13   Fitbit has relationships with certain retail partners.  You can be confident that you aren't getting a counterfeit Fitbit when you shop this way.  You must buy your Fitbit from a retail partner to get warranty coverage.  The current UK partners are Argos, Currys, John Lewis, Very.co.uk, and Amazon (must be sold by Amazon, not by a third party on Amazon).  Although I live in the US, it is my understanding that the UK has more generous retail consumer protection laws.  Have you contacted the store where you bought it?
