Ive just purchased the inspire smart Fitbit and it’s not restarting a fresh each day and it has all this information of calories for weeks that I haven’t done, only purchased this new last night? What do I do?

Hi, @Kellyfit , this aspect of the Fitbit program often causes confusion, but this is completely normal and does not mean that your Inspire is malfunctoning in any way.
Fitbit calculates your BMR (basal metabolic rate) calories from the information that you enter when you set up your profile: age, sex, height and weight. BMR calories are calories your body burns just staying alive -- respiration, circulation, digestion, even thinking all burn calories. So any day you look at in your Fitbit app will show you these calories, whether or not you were wearing your Fitbit (or even if you did not even own a Fitbit on that date!). Once you wear it, you will get additional calorie "credit" for any activities it detects.
The calorie calculation (and steps, if you are wearing your Fitbit) should reset to zero every night at midnight. So if you wake up in the morning showing calories burned, these will be calories your body burned from midnight until the moment you woke up and looked at your Fitbit.
You may also notice a small number of steps (usually fewer than 100) which your Fitbit detected from movements in your sleep. This is normal, and nothing to worry about. If it shows more than 100 or so steps and you have not been up in the night, then it could suggest that you have been very restless and active in your sleep -- that in itself is a metric worth considering.
But hopefully it is only the calories that is concerning you, and that this answers your issue. Please post again with any further questions. There is always someone here to help. Welcome to the forums!
