No Settings option to turn Heart Rate on

I've been using my new Inspire 2 for 2 days. The first day, the heart reading was showing my bpm ok. Last night, it stopped showing. On the home screen I chose, the line for bpm is very dim and has no number. I tried restarting but that made no difference. My iPhone is still saying it has sync'd. I do have the steps, heart, sleep, etc., info from the first night but nothing today from last night or yesterday. Health Metrics showed items yesterday but "no data" for last night or today.

The manual says "On your device, open the Settings app, Heart Rate, tap to turn the setting On."

When I go through Settings, there are things like Dim Screen, etc. There is Heart Notifications. But there is no Heart Rate option.

What do I do now?

A friend figured this out.  Somehow, I had gotten the Inspire into "Clip" mode, which disables the heart monitor. I didn't even know what clip mode was and have no idea how it happened.

Anyway, problem solved unless the Inspire puts itself into clip mode randomly.
